Male Survivor Online Peer Support Group

MENd Together Peer Support

MENd Together Online Peer Support Group

This online peer support group is a safe, confidential space for adult men who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse to connect with others who truly understand. The group meets every Tuesday evening online, allowing men to join from a place where they feel comfortable, private, and in control.

MENd Together’s peer support group exists to reduce isolation, rebuild trust, and offer mutual support for men affected by childhood sexual abuse, trauma, addiction, and related mental health challenges. The focus is on shared understanding and connection — not advice-giving, fixing, or pressure to disclose personal experiences.

This group is not therapy. It is a facilitated, trauma-informed peer support space for men, where participants are invited to show up exactly as they are, at their own pace. There is no expectation to share details of abuse or revisit traumatic events. Listening is just as valued as speaking, and every man retains full choice and control over how he engages.

Sessions prioritise emotional safety, confidentiality, mutual respect, and belonging. Through clear boundaries and a consistent structure, the group supports men to explore healthier ways of relating, communicating, and connecting with others, while acknowledging the long-term impact childhood sexual abuse can have on trust, identity, relationships, and self-worth.

This men-only group is suitable for those:

• Seeking support for childhood sexual abuse

• Looking for men’s peer support online

• Wanting a safe first step toward healing

• Attending therapy or coaching and wanting additional support

• Not yet ready for therapy but needing connection and understanding

To maintain safety and confidentiality, all participants are asked to speak with MENd Together before receiving the meeting link.
