Calm, grounded reading for hard moments

Not advice. Not a sales funnel. Articles written for men who'd rather read something honest than something polished.

    About this library

An honest library, added to every fortnight

Every article here has been written by someone who does this work face-to-face with men — either as a facilitator inside MENd Together's Canterbury circles, or as a partner practitioner we trust. Nothing is generated by a marketing team, and nothing is a sales funnel dressed up as content.

The library is grouped by shape rather than topic — long-form guides for the subjects that take real time; educational articles for the ones that need context; short reads for the nights you have six minutes before bed; local pieces for Kent; and partnership pieces for organisations trying to support the men they employ or serve.

    How to use the library

There is no 'start here'. Skim the titles, notice which ones make you pause, and read that one. Everything else will still be here next month.

If you want new pieces in your inbox rather than having to remember to check back, the MENd Together newsletter is monthly, brief, and easy to unsubscribe from. If a specific article helps, sending it to one other man tends to help more than sharing it publicly.

Some articles carry content notes for topics like suicide, sexual violence or addiction. If you're struggling right now, please close the tab and reach out — in the UK, Samaritans (116 123) answer any time of day or night.

    Questions men often ask

    Can I contribute an article?
Sometimes yes. Email info@mendtogether.org with a rough draft or an idea. A facilitator will read it, and if it's a fit we'll work with you on the safeguarding and editing pass.
Are these written for men only?
The perspective is written from adult men's experience, but partners, family members and clinicians read them too and often find the language useful.
How often is new writing added?
Roughly every fortnight, alongside our men's circle and walking group calendar in Canterbury.
    Is this content free?
Yes. Everything on this site is free to read. The paid parts of MENd Together are the Recovery Hub app (£6.99/month) and one-to-one sessions — none of which you need to touch to use the writing.

We only count what we can verify. No invented testimonials, no growth-chart vanity numbers. When men share their words with consent, they show up here.
