    Healing Through Movement

    Movement-based wellbeing at work

Not everyone wants to sit and talk. A guided movement and breathing session gives people a different way to notice and ease the pressure they're carrying.

    A different way in

Plenty of people, men especially, find it hard to sit in a circle and talk about how they're feeling. Movement offers another way in.

Stress and pressure often show up in the body as tension, tiredness or feeling constantly on edge. A guided session gives people time to notice that, breathe, and settle, without having to explain anything.

    What a session involves

    • Gentle, accessible movement. Every movement is optional and can be done seated.
    • Simple breathing practices people can use again on their own.
    • A few quiet minutes of grounding and stillness.
    • Optional sharing. Nobody has to speak.

    Bringing it to your workplace

Healing Through Movement is delivered by MENd Together with Heal A Generation. It's fully funded by Sport England, so there's no charge to your organisation, and it can be run for workplaces, colleges, schools and community centres.
