Find the word
A small library of the feelings men most often arrive with — and what tends to help.
Naming something doesn't fix it, but it loosens its grip. Pick whatever feels closest. None of these need to be permanent — they're weather, not who you are.
Too much, all at once. Nothing landing.
Not much getting through. Hollow, flat, far away.
A hot, fast charge. Often louder than what's underneath.
A weight that says: there's something wrong with me.
Wired, scanning, can't quite settle the body.
Surrounded by people and still missed.
Past tired. The kind sleep doesn't fix.
Going through the motions without a thread to follow.
A loss that's bigger than the words you have for it.
Knowing something needs to change, and not moving.

If you searched for it

OpenWhy a library of feelings
Most men grew up with a vocabulary of about four feelings: fine, tired, angry, and the one you don't say out loud. That works for a while, and then one day it doesn't — usually somewhere between thirty and fifty, when the body starts pushing back with insomnia, low mood, short fuse, or a numbness that won't lift.
This library exists to give men slightly more precise language for what's actually happening inside. Not to diagnose. Not to fix. Just to name.
Every feeling here is a short page with three things: what this feeling often is, what it usually means when it shows up in a man's life, and one or two small things worth trying tonight. There is no eight-step protocol. Real change tends to move slower than that.
You don't have to feel the 'right' feeling to click one. Curiosity is enough. If a page doesn't fit, close it and try another. If several pages fit, that's normal — feelings arrive in layers, and the top one is often masking something quieter underneath.
If you'd like to sit with these alongside other men, our Canterbury men's circle uses the same language most months, and the Recovery Hub inside the members app has short daily practices tied to each feeling.

We only count what we can verify. No invented testimonials, no growth-chart vanity numbers. When men share their words with consent, they show up here.
