Whether you're struggling with separation, loneliness, stress, anxiety, loss of contact with your children, relationship breakdown, identity, purpose, or simply carrying more than anyone realises | MENd Together provides safe, compassionate support for fathers, including our flagship Monthly Fathers Support Group, held in person in Canterbury each month.

    You are not alone

Many fathers are carrying more than anyone realises

Across Kent, thousands of men are quietly navigating fatherhood while struggling with their mental health. Most do it in silence because they feel they need to stay strong for everyone else.

    Many fathers experience

    • Separation from children
    • Relationship breakdown
    • Family court stress
    • Loneliness
    • Depression
    • Anxiety
    • Financial pressure
    • Loss of identity
    • Anger
    • Shame
    • Feeling disconnected

Suicide remains the biggest killer of men under 50 in the UK, and fathers experiencing separation are among the most at risk. Reaching out is not weakness. It is one of the strongest things a father can do, for himself, and for his children.

    Why a fathers group?

Because no father should carry it alone

    Many fathers feel isolated.

Many men struggle to speak openly about what they are carrying.

Many fathers lose support networks following relationship breakdowns.

Many men feel they must stay strong whilst struggling internally.

    Common reasons fathers reach out

Whatever you're carrying, there's a place for it here

    Jaymes' story

MENd Together was built by a father who has walked this road

Jaymes is a father of two boys and the founder of MENd Together. The work he does today grew out of lived experience, navigating family court, separation, mental health struggles, addiction recovery and the long, quiet work of healing from childhood trauma.

He knows what it is to feel unseen as a father. To love your children deeply and still be brought to your knees by the systems, losses and silences that come with modern fatherhood.

MENd Together was created so that no father in Kent has to face those seasons alone. Everything we do is grounded in lived experience, trauma-informed practice, and the simple belief that men heal in community.
