Men's Mental Health Support for Logistics & Transport

For haulage, delivery, warehousing and transport employers whose people spend long hours on the road, on the night shift or working alone.

From a single session to an ongoing partnership. Every proposal is built around your workforce.

Pressures that come with the job

    Long hours alone

Drivers can go a whole shift with little real conversation. Isolation builds quietly, and there's rarely a natural moment to say something isn't right.

    Nights and changing shifts

Irregular hours and broken sleep affect mood, concentration and family life, and make it harder to keep up with friends.

    Tight windows and targets

Delivery slots, traffic and tracking can make every day feel like it's against the clock.

    Time away from home

Nights out of the cab and early starts put strain on relationships and leave little time to recover.

    Fatigue and health

Long periods sitting, irregular meals and tiredness all take a toll on how people feel.

    Hard to reach

When your people are spread across routes and depots, a poster in the canteen reaches very few of them.

Support that reaches people who are rarely in one place

    Short and practical

Sessions that fit a depot start or a shift change, built around real situations rather than theory.

    Peer-to-peer

Helping drivers and warehouse teams look out for each other, so support doesn't depend on a manager being there.

    Somewhere private to turn

Confidential one-to-one support for men who'd never raise something in front of colleagues.

Managers who know what to do

Supervisors and transport managers who can spot changes and start a conversation well.

    What we can deliver

    Workplace men's circles

A regular, facilitated space where men can talk honestly or just listen. Nobody has to share.

    Men's wellbeing workshops

Practical, plain-spoken sessions on stress, pressure and looking out for each other.

    Confidential one-to-one support

Private conversations for men who'd rather not talk in a group.

    Leadership and manager support

Helping supervisors and managers notice, ask and respond well.

    Ongoing partnerships

From a single session to a programme built around your workforce over time.

MENd Together is a Community Interest Company. This is wellbeing and peer support, not therapy or clinical treatment.

    Built around your operation

    • Sessions at your depot, warehouse or site, timed around shift patterns
    • Early, late or changeover sessions so night and day teams aren't left out
    • A pilot with one site before rolling out more widely
    • Format, timing and confidentiality agreed with you before anything starts

Funded by Sport England · No cost to you

    Healing Through Movement

A gentle, trauma-informed movement session for your teams, on site or at the depot: breathwork, grounding and accessible movement, with no fitness level needed and no one required to talk. Delivered by MENd Together with Heal A Generation and fully funded by Sport England.

Tell us a little about your organisation and the men in your workforce. Every organisation is different, so we develop proposals based on workforce needs, programme scope and delivery requirements. A real person reads every message and replies within two working days, usually to arrange a short introductory conversation of twenty to thirty minutes. There is no obligation and no sales process. You can also email info@mendtogether.org.

    Common questions

How do you reach drivers who are rarely on site?
We'll work with you on timings around depot starts, changeovers and quieter periods, and on how to make confidential support easy to reach for people who are on the road.
Do people have to talk about their own mental health?
No. Sharing is always optional. Many men get a lot from listening, or from a private one-to-one conversation instead of a group.
Is this therapy or occupational health?
No. It's wellbeing and peer support, delivered by a Community Interest Company. It sits alongside your occupational health and employee assistance programme, not instead of them.
Do you only work with logistics companies?
No. We work with employers in many sectors, particularly those with large male workforces, such as construction, engineering, manufacturing and transport.
