Men's support in Canterbury
MENd Together supports men in Canterbury through Circles, Walk & Talk, Coffee & Connection, and community events. Canterbury is where MENd Together started and where our groups run most frequently — Men's Circles, Walk & Talk, Coffee & Connection and community events every week.
What we offer in Canterbury
Our groups are free or low-cost, trauma-informed, and open to any man 18+. You don't need a referral. You don't need a diagnosis. You don't need to say anything you don't want to say.
Depending on the month, Canterbury men can access:
- Walk & Talk — a weekly walk with other men, held rain or shine.
- Coffee & Connection — an informal weekly coffee meet-up.
- Men's Circle — a facilitated group for deeper conversation.
- Fathers Group — a monthly space for dads.
- Foundation Series — a structured 8-week programme.
- Online Peer Support — for male survivors of CSA and childhood trauma.
Who comes
Men across Canterbury and the wider area — tradesmen, professionals, dads, retirees, first-time attendees, long-time members. There is no "type" of man these groups are for. If you're a man and you're reading this, they're for you.
What to expect
You can turn up without registering, sit at the back, and leave when you like. If you'd like a quick chat with a facilitator before your first session, get in touch — someone will reply within a day.
