Short reflections
Short, grounded videos to watch before you write — or instead of.
Why we make these
Journal Videos are short, quiet reflections filmed by facilitators who work with men every week. They're deliberately undramatic — a man sitting somewhere, saying the thing that would help another man tonight.
There's no music bed, no ten-minute preamble, no promise of transformation. You watch, you sit for a moment, you either write or you don't. Most men use them the way they'd use a slow cup of tea.
The 'arrival' videos are for the moment before you journal — a way to land in your body before you land on the page. The longer 'debrief' videos are for after a difficult conversation, meeting, or memory has surfaced. And the 'permission' videos are for the nights that just ask you to stop trying.
If a video hits hard, close it, breathe, and come back tomorrow. There's nothing you have to finish. If you'd like to talk to another man after watching one, our Canterbury men's circle and walking group are both open to newcomers.

We only count what we can verify. No invented testimonials, no growth-chart vanity numbers. When men share their words with consent, they show up here.
