Support For Men: A Plain Map of What's Available

Most men don't avoid support because they don't want it. They avoid it because the landscape is confusing and they don't want to pick wrong. Here's the simple version.

    Peer support and community

The most accessible doorway. Weekly online drop-ins, themed conversation groups, in-person men's circles. Low cost or donation-based. No referral needed.

    Structured programmes

Six-week and longer programmes for men who want depth and consistency, with the same group of men through the arc. Sits between peer support and 1-to-1 work.

    1-to-1 coaching

For men who want focused individual work. Ongoing, tailored, weekly or fortnightly. Sits alongside therapy if you're already in it.

    Therapy and crisis support

For clinical needs and active crisis, please use NHS pathways and crisis lines (999, Samaritans 116 123). MENd Together is peer support, not therapy.
